INSPIRE BY SIMPLE, EVERYDAY MOMENT: Oury Home
Valeria expresses through his hands a daily gesture of the household ritual.
I’m Valeria Zagalets, the founder of OURY HOME, a linen atelier born from my deep appreciation for home, simplicity, and the beauty of natural materials. What started as a small creative practice has grown into a space where we create handcrafted linen pieces, made slowly and intentionally, with respect for traditional craftsmanship.
I’ve always believed that our spaces shape how we feel, and through OURY HOME, I explore how thoughtful design and tactile materials can bring calm, meaning, and a sense of ritual into everyday life.
For me, home is not just a place, it’s a feeling you create through the objects you choose and the rituals you build around them.

DESCRIBE YOUR PASSION IN 3 WORDS.
INTENTIONAL, CRAFTED, TIMELESS
YOUR APARTMENT REFLECT YOU?
Yes, completely. My home is a reflection of how I see the world calm, minimal, and grounded in natural textures. I’m especially drawn to linen, soft tones, and objects that carry a sense of honesty and quiet beauty. It’s not about having many things, but about living with pieces that feel meaningful and bring a sense of balance to everyday life.
YOUR FAVORITE OBJECT?
It’s always something handmade something that carries the marks of the human touch. I’m especially drawn to linen pieces, because they evolve over time. They soften, age, and become part of your daily rituals. To me, those are the most meaningful objects the ones that quietly live with you and hold memories
WHAT INSPIRE YOU AND WHAT DO YOU THINK WHEN YOU CREATE?
I’m inspired by simple, everyday moments morning light, the rhythm of a slow day, the way a table is set before a meal.
Nature, textures, and the process of making also inspire me deeply. Working with linen, I’m constantly inspired by how a material can feel both raw and refined at the same time.
I always come back to one question: how will this feel in someone’s home?
I think about calm, balance, and longevity. I want each piece to feel timeless something that doesn’t follow trends, but instead becomes part of someone’s everyday rituals and meaningful moments.
THANK YOU VALERIA FOR ANSWERING, ONE LAST QUESTION: WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT MAIDEN INTERIOR?
Maiden Interior feels very aligned with the idea that interiors are a form of personal storytelling. I really appreciate how it celebrates individuality and thoughtful spaces where design is not just visual, but emotional and intentional. It’s inspiring to see a platform that values that depth.
